United Metal Products’® Wet Bulb Energy Recovery Unit (ERU) works differently than other energy recovery systems by exchanging air at the wet bulb temperature as opposed to the traditional dry bulb or sensible exchangers. These units are perfect for commercial and industrial applications in regions with a high dry bulb temperature and relatively low wet bulb temperature such as the Western U.S. and the Middle East. The Wet Bulb ERU has the environmentally friendly advantage of virtually eliminating the sensible outside air cooling load by providing up to over 100% efficiency in high dry bulb regions without the use of CFC’s.
