United Metal Products® was founded in 1978. The founding partners come from a long family line of cooling industry professionals. Their grandfather, John Goettl, pioneered the early commercial development of evaporative cooling in the 1930s. What began as a start-up company in 1978 has turned into the industry leader for providing innovative and energy efficient cooling solutions through evaporative cooling technologies.
