This individual will serve as the key point of contact between the assembly line and our Inventory Control and Material Planning teams, ensuring a seamless flow of materials to and from the production floor. Responsibilities and Skills:
Planning
  • Arrange materials on the assembly line efficiently, optimizing storage locations for accessibility and workflow.
  • Coordinate with the Inventory Control and Logistics Team to ensure accurate and timely material delivery.
  • Continuously assess and enhance material flow efficiency, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce handling time.
  • Improve and maintain material/storage line layout, updating process cells as necessary when enhancements are made.
Monitoring
  • Monitor and maintain the pulse of the assembly line to anticipate material consumption.
  • Participate in Kanban inventory management and cycle counting processes to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in material handling, working with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all materials entering the assembly line are organized and stored in designated locations for efficient retrieval and usage.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Inventory Control to adjust delivery frequencies or quantities based on usage patterns or production schedule fluctuations.
  • Notify Inventory Control or Scheduling & Material Planning regarding low stock levels, discrepancies, or urgent needs.
Skills Required:
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Forklift Experience and/or current certification.
Skills Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials Handling, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations.
  • Experience with Kanban Inventory Systems and Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.

Description: We are seeking to hire an individual to join our QC Department (on the floor) in performing inspections, recording and entering data collected. Additionally, this individual will maintain quality standards for manufactured and purchased parts by developing, training and enforcing QC standards.
Skills Required:
  • Proficient in First Article Inspections and performing Sampling Plan inspections for Acceptable Quality Levels and final product review.
  • Well versed in the use of quality precision tools such as; micrometers, tape measure, digital/dial calipers, gage blocks and gage pins.
  • Detail oriented, organized and thorough.
  • Dependable self-starter that is analytical.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Resolute and process minded.

Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and review drawings.
  • Perform First Article Inspections in the areas of sheet metal fabrication, welding and powder coating.
  • Inspect incoming purchased parts, work in process or completed work to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
  • Follow QC procedures for all non-conforming work.
  • Assist in documenting new procedures and creating work instructions as directed by QA.
  • Work with QA and managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality.
  • Be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures.
  • Maintain and process red tag items, CARs, NCAs, ECRs as directed by the QA.

Education and Experience:
  • HVAC manufacturing / work experience a plus.
  • Quality Control experience needed (preferred manufacturing experience).
