Description: The Internal Technical Support Team receives information from the Sales Department for the design and building of custom air handling units. The team transforms the information into technical data that is utilized throughout the production facility. The ITS Team is also tasked with tracking the progress of jobs through the production process and assist with any technical issues that occur within the facility.
Responsibilities:
  • Using computer selection programs to produce quotations for custom built AHUs.
  • Sizing and selection of fans, coils, furnaces etc.
  • Maintaining documentation of each project quoted.
  • Generating Submittal data packages.
  • Compiling, distributing, and managing detailed AHU order information for other departments.
  • Coordinating unit construction during the production process through collaborative effort with Sales and the Customer.

Skills Required:
  • HVAC background (5+ years)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Specifications.
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Aptitude for working within a busy sales environment and prioritizing workloads.
  • Numerically competent.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to understand CAD drawings, electrical schematics, and the Psychrometric Chart.
  • Spatial judgement and ability to visualize 3D objects from 2D drawings.
  • Good people skills – team player (interdependent).
  • Continual learner that is naturally curious and likes solving problems.

Education & Experience Required:
  • 5+ years HVAC field experience
  • Completion of an HVAC trade school or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts.

Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
  • Assist the Sales team in the interpreting of specifications and or sequence of operations to create a control package to meeting the customer’s needs. This may include meeting directly with customer/ engineer or even site visits.

  • Selection of components to create a base Bill of Materials for control packages.

Customer Support:
  • Assist Customer Service personnel in problem solving & trouble shooting equipment. This may include making the call to ordering parts or going out to the site to make corrections if necessary.

Engineering Support:
  • Assist in R&D as necessary.

Plant Support:
  • Assist in any special control needs for our own facility.
  • Assist as necessary in final hookup and testing of control systems on the plant floor or in the field.
  • Be available for questions from the plant floor on project designs and best practice for installation.
  • Assist the Plant in making building and installing our controls in a safe manner that is in line with codes and industry standards.
  • Assist with the installation and testing of systems.

Safety:
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining Safety Standards related to the installation and testing of controls in the plant.

Skills Required:

Description: We are seeking to hire an individual to assist QA (on the floor) by maintaining quality standards for manufactured and purchased parts by developing, maintaining, training and enforcing QC standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and review drawings.
  • Inspect incoming purchased parts, work in process or completed work to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
  • Follow QC procedures on work that does not meet requirements.
  • Assist in documenting new procedures and creating work instructions as directed by QA.
  • Educate workers on the required standards.
  • Work with QA and managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality.
  • Be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures.
  • Maintain and process red tag items, CARs, NCAs, ECRs as directed by the QA.

Skills Required:

Description: Fabrication press brake and CNC operators needed for busy HVAC Manufacturer. (Full Time) Produce a variety of parts which must meet dimensional specification of mechanical engineering drawings. This position may include all or some of the responsibilities listed below:
Responsibilities
  • Operate press brakes and other CNC machinery used in the fabrication department.
  • Use CNC controller to input information into machine.
  • Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and drawings.
  • Perform complex programming using all feature of the press brake.
  • Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications.
  • Perform operator level maintenance.
  • Assist other machine operators.
  • Read mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Select proper punches and dies based on material thickness and type.
  • Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters.

  • Keep work area clean and organized.
