Description: We are seeking to hire a knowledgeable, motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to perform and coordinate preventative and reactive building and equipment maintenance. The right candidate will need to be safety-minded, able to work with 24v, 120v, 208v, 277v & 480 volt electricity and know motor controls. Must be able to troubleshoot and maintain various equipment, and/or be able to find the resources to keep things up and running. Equipment types vary from new and used fabricating shop equipment like: presses, coil lines, shears, powder coating paint booths and equipment, paint oven, paint conveyor line, forklifts, welders, CNC equipment, high definition plasma machine, spot welders, pem setters, tool sharpeners, overhead cranes, delivery truck, pneumatics, hydraulics, air compressors, air conditioners, evaporative coolers, hand drills & grinders. Candidate must also be able to order, track and distribute tools and equipment.
Skills Required:
  • Up to date on OSHA standards, requirements and regulations.
  • Maintain and develop preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
  • Able to read and understand drawings and schematics.
  • Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures.
  • Be able to do electrical and plumbing maintenance.
  • Be willing to be part of a Safety committee.
  • When machinery or equipment breaks down, must be willing to work longer hours if necessary to ensure machinery or equipment is back on line to meet production and safety requirements.

Experience Preferred:
  • 2 years minimum in mechanical or manufacturing background.

Skills Required:
  • Able to provide recent clean MVD report (39 Months).

  • Keep the staging area organized and orderly every day.
  • Gather parts needed for assembly using the kitting process.

Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
  • Assist the Sales team in the interpreting of specifications and or sequence of operations to create a control package to meeting the customer’s needs. This may include meeting directly with customer/ engineer or even site visits.
  • Design and drafting of Electrical Ladder Diagram for all product lines.
  • One line Diagrams (Quote Level)
  • Ladder Diagrams (Submittal Level)
  • Assist in As Built Diagrams (Post Production)
  • Design and drafting of one line Refrigeration systems
  • Design and possibly drafting of one line Hydronic systems
  • Defining Sequence of Operations

Purchasing Support:
  • Assist in locating hard to find parts or parts outside of the realm of purchasing departments knowledge.
  • Selection of components to create a base Bill of Materials for control packages.

Customer Support:
  • Assist Customer Service personnel in problem solving & trouble shooting equipment. This may include making the call to ordering parts or going out to the site to make corrections if necessary.

Engineering Support:
  • Assist in R&D as necessary.

Plant Support:
  • Assist in any special control needs for our own facility.
  • Assist as necessary in final hookup and testing of control systems on the plant floor or in the field.
  • Be available for questions from the plant floor on project designs and best practice for installation.
  • Assist the Plant in making building and installing our controls in a safe manner that is in line with codes and industry standards.
  • Assist with the installation and testing of systems.

Safety:
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining Safety Standards related to the installation and testing of controls in the plant.

Skills Required:

Description: We are seeking to hire an individual to assist QA (on the floor) by maintaining quality standards for manufactured and purchased parts by developing, maintaining, training and enforcing QC standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and review drawings.
  • Inspect incoming purchased parts, work in process or completed work to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
  • Follow QC procedures on work that does not meet requirements.
  • Assist in documenting new procedures and creating work instructions as directed by QA.
  • Educate workers on the required standards.
  • Work with QA and managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality.
  • Be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures.
  • Maintain and process red tag items, CARs, NCAs, ECRs as directed by the QA.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Programs.
