Description: We are seeking to hire an individual to assist our QC Department (on the floor) by recording and entering data collected. Maintain quality standards for manufactured and purchased parts by developing, maintaining, training and enforcing QC standards.
Skills Required:
  • Must be detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Must be a self-starter and organized.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and review drawings.
  • Inspect incoming purchased parts, work in process or completed work to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
  • Follow QC procedures on work that does not meet requirements.
  • Assist in documenting new procedures and creating work instructions as directed by QA.
  • Educate workers on the required standards.
  • Work with QA and managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality.
  • Be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures.
  • Maintain and process red tag items, CARs, RCA’s, RMA’s, NCAs, ECRs as directed by the QA.
  • Has knowledge of Toyota Lean.

Education and Experience:
  • HVAC work experience a plus.
  • Quality Control experience needed.
