Industrial class indirect-direct cooling equipment lowers the supply air temperature by as much as 10°F

The IDU™ is United Metal Products' efficient indirect-direct cooling system. The IDU provides an energy efficient solution for facilities that need effective cooling, but find the operational expenses associated with A/C to be cost prohibitive as well as inefficient. One of the main advantages of the IDU is that it can provide a low discharge air temperature without the use of compressorized equipment. Indirect-direct cooling is also a more effective system than standard evaporative units in that it can lower the supply air temperature by as much as 10°F. For these reasons and more the IDU is an excellent option for industrial/commercial applications that require anywhere from 1,000 CFM up to 120,000 CFM.

  • ETL listed and labeled in accordance with UL1995
  • Indirect-direct cooling has a smaller carbon footprint than A/C
